Downtown Puyallup features outstanding restaurants and brewpubs, retail shopping, the historic Meeker Mansion, and a one-of-a-kind outdoor art gallery. Pioneer Park is home to the well-known Puyallup Farmers' Markets, one of the top markets in Washington State, a summer concert series and a fun spray park for the kids. In June Downtown Puyallup hosts the Meeker Days Arts & Music Festival and the widely popular Lighted Santa Parade. The Washington State Fair, one of the 10th largest fairs in the country, is also located in Puyallup. The Washington State Fair annually sees over 1 million fairgoers and it's famous tagline "Do the Puyallup" is loved by the local community.
