Did you ever wonder about where the name Gondwana came from? It was a super continent that existed 160 million years ago and included all of the southern continents. Pam Peterson envisioned a store that would honor diverse cultures all over the world. Gondwana opened in 1995, specializing in fair trade and eco-friendly jewelry, home decor and gifts. In 1996 Pam added women’s clothing and accessories and the Divine Clothing Company was born. Pam’s daughter, Amanda joined the business in 1998, and Gondwana and Divine Clothing Co. has grown ever since! Pam and Amanda select unique clothing collections for the store by working with small US manufacturers. You will be delighted at the diverse selection of clothing, accessories and jewelry you won’t find anywhere else!
