About Jaffrey Public Library

Designed in the Romanesque Revival style, the Library was originally named for its benefactress Susan B. Clay and dedicated on July 4, 1896. The Soldiers' Monument in front of the Library, dedicated in 1900, commemorates those who served in the American Revolution, War of 1812, and Mexican and Civil Wars. The Library is located at 38 Main Street in the downtown area of Jaffrey.
